VR Meditation

A 360° macro-stereo VR experience with a neuro-interface — you steer the environment with your mind.

The piece pairs a 360°, macro-stereo VR world with a consumer brain-computer interface. As the headset reads your focus and calm, the environment around you responds in real time: the steadier your attention, the more the world settles and opens up. There is no controller and no menu — the only input is your own state of mind.

I built it to explore a question that runs through all of my spatial work: what happens when a space can sense the person inside it and adapt to them. In a VR space audit we read attention to understand how a place makes people feel; here we close the loop and let that inner signal shape the place directly. It is the same idea from the other side — attention as the interface — and it connects to why I think gaze and neural signals are data we have to treat with care.
